ATTACHMENT TO A REGISTERED VEHICLE
Example – Most public liability policies exclude claims arising from a registered vehicle. Eg. Someone trips over a cord or hose connected to your vehicle. With our policy, you are covered.
RESULT OF FAULTY WORKMANSHIP
Example – You do a job, eg. Steps and they are faulty for some reason and someone trips on them and injures themselves, you are covered.
Example – Should you have an unregistered vehicle or machinery and it causes bodily injury or property damage, you are covered.
Example- You are supplied with bitumen that has been incorrectly mixed and as a result it cracks or doesn’t seal correctly, you are covered.
Example – If you use subbies and as a result of their negligence, you are included in a legal action against them, you are covered.
Example – If you cut or damage underground services, you are covered, including the resulting damage that may be caused. eg. fusion of household appliances etc.
The policy includes legal costs in addition to your limit of indemnity.
Many principal contractors require tradies to provide them with protection should the tradie cause a problem and they become vicariously involved. Often it is written into a contract and overlooked so our policy automatically covers it for you.
