Insurance Policy

Excavator Insurance. Heavy duty earthmovers cover for your business

At imar we take pride in getting to know every trade inside and out. When it comes to earthmovers, we’ve been digging deeper into the industry so we can offer exceptional insurance and liability cover that goes further in meeting your every need.

No Dial Before You Dig requirement

Every excavator knows that Dial Before You Dig is a great service that helps protect underground services from accidental damage. At imar, we also know that sometimes oversights happen so while some insurers will not cover you if the service has not being called, we'll keep you covered for property damage to underground services, even if you've forgotten to make that call.

Wet & Dry Hire cover

Most insurers will not cover dry hire of your earthmoving equipment as it increases exposure to risk. At imar, however, we understand that dry hire is often an essential part of your business, so in addition to wet hire cover we offer an extension that provides cover for dry hire of your equipment.

No subcontractors exclusion

When it comes to getting the job done, subbies are often part of the plan, but they won't be covered by all insurance policies. imar makes sure your subcontractors are covered for injury and our policy also includes Vicarious Liability, which means you're covered if there's legal action in which you're included as a result of your sub-contractor's negligence.

Result of faulty workmanship cover

If, for example, you were operating unregistered machinery and hit a structure causing property damage, we'd still have you covered.
